Environmental Physics II

• Generality. Course for the Laurea Magistralis in Environmental and Biomedical Physics at the University of Turin (6 CFU, 48 hours), open to all students.

• Schedule. Lectures will start on end of September and will terminate on end of November. Lecture times: Monday 11-13, Wednesday 14-16, Thursday 9-11.

• Informations. The main arguments will be: Boundary layer physics and surface layer processes. The slides are generally written in English. If any English-speaking student will attend my lectures, I can teach directly in English language. In this page the pdf files of most lectures are available. Each lecture will have a duration of 4-10 hours.

• Exams. It will consist in a written test, composed by some questions (open, multiple or closed, but in any case he student must explain his/her choice). The time for the test is expected to not exceed 1 hour. Arguments can be each arguments of lectures, excluding seminars. Books and notes will NOT be allowed.

• Requirements. In the course there will be a wide use of equations. The student is supposed to be familiar with some basic concepts of Atmospheric Physics and Meteorology, and with extensive use of differential equations.
