1. Astrophysical jets:

Analytical and numerical models for the interpretation of astrophysical jets: stability analysis of stellar and AGN jets;  study of the jet-ambient interaction and of the jet origin. Study of hypersonic hydrodynamical jets generated in the laboratory. Theoretical investigations on acceleration and propagation of astrophysical jet by means of the MHD numerical code PLUTO

2. X-ray observations:

Observations of radio galaxies and group of galaxies; observations of the Supernova Remnant   MSH 15-52 and of the associated pulsar PSR B1509-08.

3. Solar physics:

Study of the radiation transfer mechanisms and instabilities in magnetic flux tubes; study of the mechanisms for the solar wind acceleration; propagation of acoustic waves in the solar chromosphere.
