Members of our group contributed to the success of the event "Arte è Scienza 2021", organized by AIAr (Associazione Italiana di Archeometria) and held at Centro Conservazione e Restauro "La Venaria Reale".
Over 50 participants had the possibility to visit the restoration and scientific laboratories of the CCR, where the conservation scientists shared their expertise on scientific methods applied to the study, conservation and valorization of Cultural Heritage.
Laura Guidorzi has joined the managing team for communication and social media of INFN-CHNet, operating in the dissemination of the network activities and collaborations.

Our group contributed to Festival della Scienza 2021 with the event "Una TAC per mappare le opere d'arte: Il caso studio del Crocifisso Ligneo di Donatello". Alessandro Re and Laura Guidorzi, together with colleagues Alessandra Patera (INFN) and Chiara Ricci (CCR "La Venaria Reale"), presented an overview of the applications of Computed Tomography (CT) to cultural heritage, from the state of the art to future perspectives."

Alessandro Re has been elected in the executive board of AIAr, the Italian Archaeometric Society. AIAr is the main Italian association of scholars and researchers working in the field of scientific applications to Cultural Heritage.
We participate in the Researchers' Night at the Egyptian Museum, from 6.30 pm to midnight, with the activity: Beyond Archaeology - The sciences team up to study (and tell) the proto-history of Japan. The activities related to the study of the megalithic tomb (Kofun) of Tobiotsuka in Japan will be presented, discovering 3D models, talking to geophysicists and dating experts and participating in curious riddles.

The BE-ARCHAEO project: the Kick-Off Meeting took place at Okayama University (Japan). More than 30 researcher from Italy, Portugal and Greece partecipated to the event.
The collaboration between CHNet and the Centro Conservazione e Restauro (CCR) "La Venaria Reale" is started. After the CHNet meeting of November,
during which the CCR was welcomed into the network, the scanner XRF has already been employed in the CCR laboratories. The scanner will be used for
one month to study the artworks that are under restoration in the laboratories. The CHNet researchers of Florence, Turin and the New York University
of Abu Dhabi are investigating the materials used by the artists in order to discover their secrets.

have been possible thanks to an agreement signed by the University of Turin, the Conservation and Restoration Center - La Venaria Reale (CCR) and the Pompei Archaeological

The new x-ray source donated by the Rotary Club was inaugurated. It is a GE Eresco 160kV/600W source with a focal spot size of 0.5 mm (IEC336). It will be used for 2D and 3D

Madama (Turin's municipal museum of ancient art). A series of thematic guided tours have been arranged and a stand within the museum has been set-up, to present the

In the framework of the Galileo program, the Università Italo-Francese approved a research project submitted by Jacopo Corsi and Alessandro Lo Giudice in collaboration
with the Université d'Orleans and several Italian museums. The funded project entitled "Ancient silver coinages between the Po and Rhone rivers" deals with the
characterization of ancient silver coins circulating during Iron age between the two sides of the Alps. Iron age coins from northern Italy have already been analysed

Alessandra Romero, Alessandro Re and Fulvio Fantino (from the TecnArt spin-off), participated to a scientific mission of the University of Torino an INFN in Myanmar, in the framework of an
international collaboration Italy-Myanmar related to Cultural Heritage and started in 2011. One of the task of this mission is to establish relationship among teachers
and students from the two nations and to realise a centre for the thermoluminescence dating in Yangon. This laboratory will be used to date materials from archaeological
sites like Sri-Ksetra.
